Frequently asked questions.

How far in advance should I place my order?

We can accept your order anytime up to the day after your event. However, we recommend submitting your order in advance as much as possible to ensure there is availability in our presses and to provide adequate time to create a drop off plan.

How long does the preservation process take?

4-6 months. This turnaround time is subject to change as we will not sacrifice time for quality.

When do you need my flowers by?

The sooner the better. We will accept bouquets within 3 days of your event. Prior to them being delivered to our shop, be sure to keep them in the fridge and/or in water with fresh cut stems. Signs that the bouquet is not workable: The flowers crumble to the touch, or the bases are beginning to mold.

Can you incorporate invites, pictures, ribbons, pendants or other sentimental items?

It’s possible! Email or send us a message with what you have and we’ll discuss designs.

Are there any flowers that cannot be pressed?

We can press almost any fresh flower. There is a limited number that cannot be thinned. Most importantly, we are not able to preserve flowers that are not fresh. These flowers include wooden flowers, artificial flowers, or flowers that have been dried prior to arrival.

My bouquet is already dry. Can you work with it?

We cannot work with flowers that are already dried. We do offer recreation services by teaming up with local florists to re-create bouquets based on photos of the original florals and greenery. There is no additional charge for this service, except the cost of the flowers and greens which will be paid to Wild + Wilted when the order with the florist is placed. Please keep in mind that we try to source the best matching flowers for your re-creation. Seasons, geographical location, and other obstacles may affect the overall appearance of the recreation.

If you are considering this option, please email us a few photos of your original bouquet to get started at hello@wildandwilted.com

We will follow up in a few days with a quote from our florist, and the next steps in creating your beautiful keepsake!

Will the colors fade after the bouquet is framed?

Every frame design is protected by 99% coated UV glass. However, being a natural product, pigmentation in your bouquet will continue to fade for their entire lifetime. Fading can be minimized by displaying your frame away from bright lighting and sunlight. When you receive your frame, expect it to fade more than what you see.

If treated well, your pressed bouquet will be cherished for a lifetime.

Will all of my flowers be used in the frame?

Not all will be pressed, and not all that are pressed will be used. Our team will select only the best quality and in best condition flowers prior to pressing and framing to ensure the best final product.

Do you preserve non-wedding flowers?

Yes! Not only do we preserve wedding bouquets, but we also preserve your custom floral arrangements for any event or occasion such as memorial, baby shower, prom and homecoming, graduation, etc.

If I drop off my bouquet in a glass vase, will it be returned?

Do not expect vases or any other additional object to be returned to you.

How does payment work?

Full payment is required to submit your order and reserve your date.

Do you issue refunds?

Because our products are custom made for each client, we do not offer refunds once your flowers are received by our shop. If you have placed your order but decide not to proceed with your bouquet preservation, orders may be canceled up until we receive your flowers. Within 24 hours of purchase, orders may be canceled for a full refund. After 24 hours, a 20% holding fee will be deducted from the refund.

We do not offer refunds on ready-ship items, events/workshops, or gift cards.
